ROCK OF AGES
September 25–30, 2012 – Long Center
The worldwide party musical ROCK OF AGES features a mix of 28 rockin’ 80’s tunes including DON’T STOP BELIEVIN’, WE BUILT THIS CITY, THE FINAL COUNTDOWN, WANTED DEAD OR ALIVE, HERE I GO AGAIN, CAN’T FIGHT THIS FEELING and I WANT TO KNOW WHAT LOVE IS. In 1987 on the Sunset Strip, a small town girl met a big city rocker and in LA’s most famous rock club, they fell in love to the greatest songs of the 80’s. It’s five time 2009 Tony® nominee ROCK OF AGES, an arena-rock love story told through the mind blowing, face-melting hits of JOURNEY, NIGHT RANGER, STYX, REO SPEEDWAGON, PAT BENATAR, TWISTED SISTER, POISON, ASIA, WHITESNAKE and many more. Don’t miss this awesomely good time about dreaming big, playing loud and partying on!

BILLY ELLIOT THE MUSICAL
December 11–16, 2012 – Bass Concert Hall
BILLY ELLIOT THE MUSICAL is the joyous celebration of one boy’s journey to make his dreams come true. Set in a small town, the story follows Billy as he stumbles out of the boxing ring and into a ballet class, discovering a surprising passion that inspires his family and his whole community. A big musical with an even bigger heart, BILLY ELLIOT THE MUSICAL will enchant the dreamer in all of us. Based on the international smash-hit film, BILLY ELLIOT THE MUSICAL is brought to life by a phenomenal cast and the Tony® Award -winning creative team — director Stephen Daldry, choreographer Peter Darling and writer Lee Hall — along with music legend Elton John, who has written what the New York Post calls “HIS BEST SCORE YET!”

DISNEY’S THE LION KING
January 16 – February 10, 2013 – Bass Concert Hall
Experience the phenomenon of Disney’s THE LION KING. Marvel at the breathtaking spectacle of animals brought to life by award-winning director Julie Taymor, whose visual images for this show you’ll remember forever. Thrill to the pulsating rhythms of the African Pridelands and an unforgettable score including Elton John and Tim Rice’s Oscar®-winning songs “Can You Feel The Love Tonight” and “Circle of Life.” Let your imagination run wild at the Tony® Award-winning Broadway sensation Newsweek calls “a landmark event in entertainment.” Austin’s most eagerly awaited return will leap onto the Bass Concert Hall stage next season.
MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET
April 9–14, 2013 – Bass Concert Hall
On December 4, 1956, an auspicious twist of fate brought Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis, Carl Perkins and Elvis Presley together. The place was Sun Records’ storefront studio in Memphis. The man who made it happen was Sam Phillips, the “Father of Rock ‘n’ Roll,” who discovered them all. The four legends-to-be united for the only time in their careers for an impromptu recording that has come to be known as one of the greatest rock jam sessions of all time. Tony® Award-winning MILLION DOLLAR QUARTET features a treasure trove of the greatest rock ‘n’ roll, gospel and country hits from these music legends, including such iconic songs as Blue Suede Shoes, Fever, Sixteen Tons, Who Do You Love?, Great Balls of Fire, Riders in the Sky, I Walk the Line, Folsom Prison Blues, and Whole Lotta Shakin’ Goin’ On.
PRISCILLA QUEEN OF THE DESERT
May 8–12, 2013 – Bass Concert Hall
BETTE MIDLER proudly presents the most outrageously fun Broadway musical: PRISCILLA QUEEN OF THE DESERT! This spectacular show tells the uplifting story of a trio of friends on a road trip of a lifetime, who hop aboard a battered old bus searching for love and friendship in the middle of the Australian outback and end up finding more than they could ever have dreamed. An international hit with over 500 dazzling, 2011 Tony® Award-winning costumes, PRISCILLA features a hit parade of dance-floor favorites including “It’s Raining Men,” “Finally” and “I Will Survive.” The Hollywood Reporter calls PRISCILLA “funny and fabulous! Joyous entertainment with eye-popping visuals and unexpected heart!”
